My daughter meets all of the requirements to apply for "A Better Chance". What would be the benefit of applying for ABC v just applying directly to BS?

Hope - I’m on the outside looking in so I can’t tell you exactly what you’ll get if you go with ABC, but I believe that the benefits include, at the very least, the services of a guidance counselor and assistance with visits. (And I’ve been told there’s quite a bit more, including possible preferential treatment with regard to admissions decisions - but I can’t speak to that.)

What you need to understand is that this is NOT an easy process. Selecting schools, arranging visits & interviews, completing the applications . . . it’s a long and stressful process, for both parent and child. If someone says they’re willing to help you . . . I would jump at the offer!
