Hey, thank you for taking your time to answer my questions.

I might be going to Carolina next year as a freshman so my questions are:
1. Should I room with a roommate or try and get a single room?
2. What are "Super Suites in Morrison?" Is that one person per room?
3. Which residence hall has the best location
4. Would you recommend the Odum Village or a residence hall.

I have some of the same questions. But for number 2 it works like this:
"six residents sharing a bathroom and a common living area"
See the first foorplan: Morrison Community - Floorplans
It's still 2 people per room

I have a question: Can freshman get these Morrison super dorms? If so how do you put that on your housing application?
Also : Does anyone know of any dorms other than Khoury, that have 2 room suites?

Get a room-mate. If you go for a single, more than likely you either won't get it, or you will get it in Hinton James.

Location is a relative term. If you want a short walk to classes, North and Middle Campus are your best bets. Other than that, I really don't think that where you live matters too much. Being on North Campus is nice in the sense that Franklin Street is closer, but the bus system here is really good.

I would recommend any residence hall over Odum Village as a freshman. Odum Village and Ram's Village are apartment communities geared towards upperclassmen and grad students. It is really hard to meet people living around you. Being in an apartment may sound great, but I feel like part of the freshman experience should be to live in a residence hall and get to know the people on your hall. Personally, I have made more friends that don't live in my dorm, but you would be surprised at how many people here end up having their hall mates and suite-mates become their best friends through college.

AceofHearts- As a freshman, it will be next to impossible to get a super-suite in Morrison. All the returning students from last year will have their housing assignments by the time your registration deadline happens, and as you can imagine, the super suites are a pretty popular option.

As for your other question all the Manning Communities, East and West, have the two room suites with the shared bathroom (4 people per bathroom). Remember though, that means you have to clean your own bathroom, which is not the case in the other suite-style dorms or the hall style dorms. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is something to consider. The actual names of the dorms are Koury, Horton, Craige North, and Hardin.

If I had to live on South I'd live in Ehaus or one of the directional dorms. Ehaus isn't that far since it has that path to it. I'm really happy I lived on north, I wouldn't've lived anywhere else, but then I have plenty of friends who feel the same way about south.

Get a roommate. I ended up without one (after some issues with mine), and I have a single in Hinton James. Fortunately it ended up being great thanks to my awesome suite mates, but there's a good chance that you won't have a positive experience in a single your first year. It could be lonely and more difficult to meet people.

They're three bedrooms to a bathroom with a living space. These are unique to Morrison, however you won't be eligible for one as a freshman.

South campus is pretty much the farthest from everything but the Dean Dome, so unfortunately, not those dorms. Middle campus is nicely located - it's right between South and North campus, with easy access to both dining halls and gyms. Not far from classes. North campus dorms are just a minute away from classes.

Definitely a residence hall. Not sure you can live in Odum as freshman anyway.
