Ap Bio this year has been though so far. I barely got a B(82) in first semester. Right now in 2nd sem, 3rd quarter, I have a 66.7 but I know I did well enough for it to go up to a C. It’s a little tougher because instead of regurgitating the info, it requires a lot of applications on the test since it’s based off of AP test. Are my chances screwed to get into Purdue? My gpa right now is 3.94/4.0 and the two B’s I got was an 89 in Honors chem and that B in Bio. I am more of a math person so I can grasp material like Chem and math better than Biology. 2 AP this year, and 3 next year.
A C in AP Biology won’t keep you out of Purdue. It won’t look good if you actually want to major in biology, but it doesn’t appear that is the case. Try not to get more Cs or some paths that are still open to you might close.
@Groundwork2022 I am just doing the 2 prereq undergrad for Pharmacy school so I am not sure if thats biology or chemistry? I would think more chemistry?
There have been several second semester C in AP Biology threads recently. It happens.
i got a C in ap chem, but a 5 on the test. Stay strong!
If you are not super strong in AP Bio, you will just need to take Bio again in college.

@bopper yeah I was planning to. Even if I passed all my AP exam, I was planning to take my core science and math classes for pharmacy in college. I am just using the AP class as an introductory so I am familiar with the material in college.
