a C in Geometry... should I retake?

<p>I will have a C in Geometry (at best) due to me being lazy. I'm being honest about it. I should have done the homework and studied more for this class. I'm just not math oriented I guess, although that's certainly no excuse. My GPA is high, so even with the C my GPA would be about a 3.5 UW... still certainly nothing to write home about.</p>

<p>To my knowledge, if I retake this summer or next year (likely summer), that would be the only score that goes on my transcript. Should I do it?</p>

<p>If your other grade would be forgotten, I would say to definitely give it a try over the summer. Sure, it will sacrifice some of your free time, but I think in the long run, you’ll feel a lot better about it.</p>

<p>Find the re-take policy in writing. I am surprised that any high school would let a student re-take a class they had passed just for a higher grade on the transcript.</p>

<p>^At our high school, you have to get a D or F to retake.</p>
