A confused Azn needs your help!

Hi there! I'm a rising senior and I'm recently researching on colleges (obviously)
The major that I'm considering is computer science, maybe accounting as a minor

so here's my list

ED: Cornell
Princeton
CMU
UMich
UIllinois
Georgia tech
Rutgers
SUNY Stony Brook

and now I'm thinking to add one more reach school, and here are the schools that I am thinking about:

Brown
Duke
NW
Rice

so which school do you think I should add? which one is the best in terms of computer science? which one is the easiest to get in?

thx a lot.

Rice. Great in comp science, easier to get into than the other three, residential college system and its close to Houston.

read ayn rand atlas shrugged

I’d take NW off since if you’re applying for another reach, you might as well shoot higher, and Duke/Brown/Rice offer better college experiences, IMO. If I had to pick one for CS, I’d pick Brown.

thx for replying. anyway, do you guys think that I can add more colleges to my list? because I was even thinking to add ut austin to my list.

out of your three, rice is the easiest to get into. what kind of school do you want?

lol doesn’t matter, as long as the education quality is wonderful. all those locations and lifestyles don’t really matter to me

but again, how many more colleges do you guys think I can add to the list?
thx again for answering my question!

bump…

It’s NU and not NW noob. Not sure how you can be so certain that Brown, Rice, and Duke will all give you a “better college experience” than Northwestern. NU is in the Big Ten and is located just outside of a world class city. The other three just aren’t in as exciting areas, particularly Brown and Duke.

Why don’t you just add without taking off Northwestern? It’s just one more app, and 8 isn’t that bad anyway.

Rice is the “easiest” (I use that term loosely) to get into, in terms of a higher acceptance rate.

I think you could add more than one, your list isn’t too outrageous. And, you never know with college admissions these days.
