A Couple Questions About Waitlist

Okay so I just have a couple questions:

1)Are the people who are waitlisted ranked?

2)On the response form, it has four boxes (Autumn/Spring/Winter/Summer) to fill out with class loads. When it says "Summer 2012 Classes I Plan to Take", does this mean things like summer school or what?

3)Because my school operates in semester, does second semester refer to Spring? (Probably does, but just making sure.)

4)My stats pale in comparison to everyone else (GPA 3.74, SAT 1700), but I got waitlisted anyways. I guess this means my essays were fairly well written; will this have an impact on their waitlist decisions?

Thank you for your responses!

1) I believe they’re put into a pool and then completely reevaluated as opposed to a waitlist rank.
2) I’m not sure. You should ask the admissions office directly just to make sure.
3) Yes, second semester is Spring semester.
4) Yes, your essays and everything else you have submitted in your application will be reconsidered. It’s not just GPA/Test scores.
