A Couple Questions..

Hey,

I finally decided to commit to RU, but i still have some questions. I am going to be a freshman in the Rutgers Business School in NB.

1) Is there anything similar to the Honors Program with the SAS in this school?
I have always been hearing about this program but wasnt sure if it would apply to me.
2) I have been always living in NJ so I'm not sure about dorming. Do you think its worth it to stay in campus or do you think I'm better off commuting?
3) Going along with question 1, if I dorm, am I eligible for the Honors Housing since I'm taking business?
4) What resident hall would you recommend I stay at?
5) Finally, this question may be silly, but how are the bathrooms? lol I'm kinda paranoid about sharing a bathroom with others. It HAS to be clean for me to shower in. I don't even share a bathroom at my house haha.

Thanks in Advance!

1) yes, since the bs is technically under sas.
2) if you want to have the typical college experience, i’d dorm. but if money is more important, i’d commute. maybe dorm for the first and/or second year, and commute for the rest?
3) i’m pretty sure, yes.
4) depends which campus, what kind of environment you’re looking for
5) i was paranoid as well. bathrooms are clean. even in yucky davidson hall, the bathrooms have recently been renovated. in the suites (if you want to live in mccmormick, the honors dorm on busch) you clean the bathroom yourselves. the bathrooms in brett are new as well. one time i was in there and someone vom’ed on the floor. so cleanliness depends on the other people who live there too.

if it’s not your own bathroom, they clean it daily at a certain time interval. you might want to plan your showers right after they are done.

if it’s your own bathrrom (suites, apartments) you might want to birng some cleanign supplies and work out a cleaning schedule with your roommates.
