@ferzouki: so are you saying that those who haven’t got any news yet, including those not previously waitlisted, now form the waitlisted (a.k.a. rejected) pool of applicants?

Nooo that’s not what I meant. I’m sure that Michigan is still going to accept many applicants because I really haven’t heard of many people at all getting in, maybe not even enough. Many people do get accepted in mid-April. I meant that I had previously heard that Michigan doesn’t reject anyone, they simply place them on the waitlist if they do not get accepted, but I was never sure if that was really true until now when a rejection had been posted.

(and I meant people getting in recently, RD applicants as well as deferred ER applicants)

thanks ferzouki for that bit for hopeful words.
sigh. i’ve been cracking down on my wolverine access every half hour, only to come to terms with nothing appearing on my status link. wonder what that means though! it’s 6 april already! boo.

Yeah, I’m on the same boat. Applied ER in October, deferred early December. Still nothing on WA, I check it too much. But I heard a good amount of people getting their decisions in April last year… and I think Michigan really held off on everyone this year. It’s just annoying that they give us nothing more than “a final decision by mid-April”

yes, for me, it’s make or break. hasn’t exactly been a great week for me. no go for the ivies. i’ll be very happy to attend mich!
