I’ve put the line at Brown since its application pool doesn’t seem (take this with a grain of salt) doesn’t seem as competitive as most other Ivy League universities, and same with Dartmouth. Nevertheless, they are still extremely, extremely difficult to get into so I may or may not be comparing 999999 with 1000000.

There are no flaws whatsoever in your application that you have any control over and you have extracurricular that seem to show what you’re interested in and in what direction your life is leaning, etc. Still, among superstar science/humanities students, this type of resume is not at all unheard of. Be proud of your accomplishments by all means, lest you believe that my “rejections” above are indicative of your application. I believe I am justified in saying that most of the above posters grossly underestimate the difficulty of getting in, which is more than your accomplishments.

Good luck!

Edit: What school are you referring to by “interview”? It should help you at least somewhat, whichever one that is. (perhaps I’m not a careful reader)

I’m not sure if I actually believe what I just wrote… I mean, you could easily get into, say, Yale and not get into Penn… Oh well, just some harmless fun :)

I’m looking forward to the rematch too, except this time team Texas won’t find itself in a 200 point hole haha. Either way it’ll be a good match. Best of luck for the rest of the year!

@Sataka: Team VA is shaping up to be a lot better this year. It’ll certainly be an exciting match.

Thank you all for your feedback! It looks like people are most pessimistic about my chances at MIT. I suppose that makes sense, as my math/sci accomplishments aren’t mind-blowing. Just a few more weeks until my first decision!

This is seriously the best chance thread idea I have ever seen. I really like the fact that you made a game out of it:) Good luck in the admissions process!
