A dilemma

Hi folks! I am an international student from Kazakhstan and still thinking between Wharton and College of Arts. Its harder to get into Wharton on bachelor than on College of Arts? I mean, choosing W in common application will cutting my chances to get into Upenn?
Thanks a lot!

There is a thread here somewhere on Wharton vs CAS for business/econ. Please do take a look. Overall, it won’t matter too much in the end and it depends on if you want straight econ or hands-on business.

Just go with the one you like better/better suits your interests, it’ll probably show on your application

I definitely would look into the econ programs offered between the College and Wharton. Although each teach economics, they both have focus on different aspects and applications. After researching between the two, choose which one fits your interest and apply to that respective school. Do not cave into the pressure of going to Wharton because of recognition, because I think both the College and Wharton are highly esteemed in economics. Choose the best fit. You’ll be happier that way. Good luck!
