Rosie's Broadway Kids offers paid and unpaid internships in the summer and during the school year.

Summer Internship - Application deadline April 1
Fall/Spring Internship - Application deadlines: Fall – August 1 / Spring – November 15

Thanks. I just sent the link to my daughter (who would like nothing more than to spend another summer in NYC).

I'll keep my fingers crossed for her! A paid internship in this field is very cool indeed.

A paid internship seems like a great opportunity! Thanks for the link. I've really been considering what to do with myself this summer.

Keep in mind that these are for a relatively short period of time, right in the middle of the summer, which isn't really conducive to other summer opportunities.

I am aware of that (thank you for the reminder alwaysamom), but for me, that's exactly what I need this summer.

clairetine, I mentioned it because most college kids are going to want/need a full summer job, not just 5-6 weeks. You might also want to check to make sure that you're eligible as a graduating h/s senior. I'm not sure if they'd consider you a college student yet or not. Some similar internships require that you have at least one year of college training under your belt. Good luck!

"just"amom- I applied for the Rosie’s B’way Kids paid summer internship, but it didn’t say online how much they pay. Do you have any idea of what they pay their interns. I’m just trying to figure out how much I would need to save up on my own for housing etc (if I were chosen for the internship) compared to just what I would be paid working for RBK.

Bird7887 - I don’t know, I simply heard about the program, looked it up & saw it was a paid internship. Hopefully you’ll hear soon and it would be just right for you~

thank you :)
