"A Few Details About You"

When it asks for favorite line from a movie, on the online commonapp, they give you practically no space to respond. is there any way to get around this, or did you guys just come up with a really short one-liner

You'll see that you can type in more than one line. I had no trouble typing in my 12 word line, and then citing the movie and year it was from.

i dont see it. im talking about the commonapp version, not the princeton online version by the way. i run out after 11.5 short words. is there some way to get the words in there? or has everyone just been working around it

I had problems with this too for the princeton supplement. I ended up just barely squeezing in a pretty short (although not my favorite) movie quote. Hopefully the readers will understand that there wasn't very much space?

If I list a song or a movie that they might not know, should I elaborate and say what its about, or why I like it?

Nope, just say the song or movie. Brevity is best in these types of questions.

song? i thought they ask what your favorite recording, which means cd/tape/this kind of stuff is...?

recording could be a cd or a song.

thanks clendenenater~!
