A few Q's about HS & College

The past three years I have gone to a very small private school; long story short, I am leaving the school and going to a public school for senior year.

Is having a half-day schedule for senior year a "con" for college admissions?

The private school did not offer AP courses,

will colleges know that for the first three years of High School I did not have those options?

Colleges want to see that you took the most challenging program available--you can make clear to them in your app what was available and reasons for your choices.

Yeah, I want to stress it, and make it clear.. hopefully, they will acknowledge it.

Anyone know about the half-day schedule situation?

if you're only going to school for half a day, are you really going to have a rigorous schedule?

Yeah, depending on when the courses are offered throughout the day -- planning on taking 2-3 AP courses, at least.

Anyone?.......

A whole day would be better, if that option is available.

well, as the OP says, it's not

aisg..., that isn't what the OP says about his options. He says he didn't take APs because his small private didn't offer them. As a separate issue, he asks whether if he takes a few AP classes but he's only on campus for a 1/2 day will that look bad.

The answer is of course it will.
