A Few Questions Involving Transferring And Business Majors

Hello, since I did not do well in high school, I plan on working my ass off freshman and sophomore year at whatever school i decide to go to. I already am 100% positive of what I want to do (at least for the first 2-4 years after college) and that is an IB...i know i run the risk of wasting my twenties but with a couple right moves I can become a millionaire with a few investing tricks of my own...back on track but I'm pretty sure I will get into FSU and I want to go there...work on bringing up my GPA and then transferring to a school like UPenn (Wharton), NYU (Stern), MIT (Sloan) etc... I plan on pursuing a double major in Finance and Economics because those seam to be the best way to go for my path.......

OK, so how hard will it be to transfer into one of those business schools? From a school like FSU, would you recommend switching in after Freshman or after sophomore year? Money is another issue and I do not have alot of it so going to a state school definitely helps. But if I must transfer out A.S.A.P than I have to do it....so please guys can you help me out here?

Thanks So much in Advanced

Hard. Seriously though, it depends on a number of factors, first your reason for wanting to transfer(wanting to do Ibanking ain't going to cut it I suspect), second you academic credintials, and lastly space and luck. It is indeed possible to transfer into those institutions, but you should look at some alternatives, as well.

Not to rain on your parade, but first you have to be accepted and then accepted again to the College of Business (assuming you stay long enough to meet requirements). Admission to both is competitive, so you may want to consider this information once you're accepted to the university:

Good luck!
