A few questions... Plz answer

<p>Hey there! I’m currently a senior in HS and will apply for both, Cal Poly SLO and Pomona, but I don’t know how the quarter system works, when would school begin for me? </p>

<p>School starts on June 18 2012, but I dont know if that applies for new freshman? Also, I’ve read that it’s hard to get into classes so how long do you think it would take me to graduate if I wanna study an industrial engineering major? </p>

<p>P.S: in your opinion, what’s better quarters or semesters? and why?</p>

<p>Nah that only applies to you if your going to also do early start or take summer courses, as for classes it might be tough depending on when your orientation is, but you can apply four honnors college or the four year pledge to get priority registration. In quarter systems, the classes go really fast so you can’t really slack off.</p>
