Make me feel good about Cal Poly Pomona engineering

Hey guys. I will be freshmen at Cal Poly Pomona in Fall.
a lot of ppl told me it is not comparable with Cal Poly SLO, USC, CSULB or any UCs in California about size of campus, campus life, professors, research, city, etc.
Im doing elctrical & computer engineering out there.I actually got in to UCI, UCR , UCSC , CSUN, SJSU , UMass Boston but I choose Poly school over them.
Anyone can make me feel better.

1) A top student at my son's high school got into both SLO and Pomona; he chose Pomona and is very happy there.

2) You can graduate in 4 years if you sign up for the 4-year pledge. This will also give you priority when registering for classes.

3) It's a top engineering university, ranked #16 among schools whose highest degree is a bachelor's or master's (tied with SJSU).

4) The campus is beautiful.

5) Graduates are in high demand.

6) Pomona has the same "learning by doing" philosophy as SLO, so if that's your style, you'll do great there.

Good luck!
