Hey everyone, wanna help?

1) My semester finishes the last week of January, so my report card comes out pretty much the last day of January. This means my mid-year report probably won't arrive at my schools until February since I live in Europe. Do I need to call all admissions offices and notify them of the late arrival?

2) Way back in November I sent out teacher recs, SSRs, and transcripts to several schools that I ended up not applying to. Do I have to notify these schools? Or do they just throw away my stuff?

Thanks very much for your help!!!

They opened a folder for you, in spring when they're done with the admission cycle they'll toss the folder out. No big deal. And if some of them were schools where you'd be someone they'd really want (or maybe schools that just need kids who can pay full freight) don't be surprised to get a letter in the next few weeks saying they haven't received your app and are "extending" the deadline for you.

re question one: our high school's semester doesn't end until late January. The school then need to get a couple hundred reports out to several hundred colleges. I'd be surprised if they got in before yours.
