A few weeks to massively raise math score?

Hi! I'm a senior and taking the SAT for the second time in December. I took it with no preparation and got an OK score the first time, 2140. My breakdown, however, is a little odd:

CR: 800
M: 600 (shoot me)
W: 740

I'm fine with the CR, obviously, and writing's pretty much alright. The math, however, is obviously a disaster. I feel so stupid because it's always been my weak (read: horrible) spot; this year I'm taking 5 AP's but CP trig :/ Anyway, I REALLY want to break 2200 (superscore) and I'd really like to get my math up to ~660. Even if I can't break 2200, I still need to get the math up to a less atrocious level. This score just makes me feel like a complete idiot, especially in comparison to my school (known for its math score). My crappy 600 is 75th percentile nationally, but in school it's 23rd percentile. Like, it's somewhat funny, but it also sucks.

So, whining (and the fact that I've procrastinated horribly) aside, what do I do now? Should I study with a book? If so, which one? I'm dedicated to a few weeks of nightly devotion because this is really important to me. I'm completely flipping out and I'd love any advice to improve my crappy score. Thanks so much guys! :)

bump? i just signed up so i’m officially committed. any ideas/anecdotes at all?

Thanks so much, Miro! I’m definitely not planning to be a math major and I’d never apply to MIT in a million years, so no worries there
I’m glad to hear that math is pretty straightforward to study. I’m willing to put the time and work in because I really want to raise my score. I’ll check out the Xiggi method and I’m going to order the blue book. Now it’s time to practice practice practice! :S
Thanks again!
