A financial dilemna... need advice.

Right now I am debating between 4 schools: NYU (waitlisted), Macaualay Honors hunter (Waitlisted...), Fordham (accepted), and Brandeis (accepted). I'm sure many of you would say to lock in that deposit with brandeis but here's the problem. I am planning on becoming a dentist, and as you all know that ain't cheap. Going to Fordham, I'd be able to stay in Manhattan (best city in the world imo) and close to my house. And a big plus, with Fordham I'd be paying only 3k a year for 4 years. Now w/ Brandeis, I suppose I get a better school but they only gave me 42k and tuition adds up to around 56k (I have to dorm there). Waltham is honestly a boring city imo, no nightlife whatsoever. It's too quiet and too secluded for someone coming from NYC. Deducting loans from the fin aid award, I'd still be paying around 20k every year for 4 years. That, combined with the staggering cost of dental school, I predict that I'd be in debt with atleast 250k+ by the time I graduate. So what are your opinions on my situation? Wat should i do?

Yeah I kind had a feeling like that. it doesn’t make much sense to throw cash into the wind for undergrad if you’re going to a decent school like fordham and planning on going to grad school. Thanks for your input btw. I’d rather not leave my parents paying a crazy huge debt for me and my two siblings. I’m planning on paying for the whole debt I accrue on my own even though they said they’d help :D

The standard advice for pre-med and pre-dent students is to do the undergrad coursework as inexpensively as possible.

Forham FTW bro. NYC, close to home and you pay loose change :D

Yeah I have to admit another major reason for my going to Fordham is the location. Lincoln Center, come on you can’t beat that. The only bad thing is that I have to take some classes at Rose Hill for predental.
