"a-g" UC course requirement.... the letter f

im a junior... and i WAS looking into the UCs... but then i found out about the "a-g" course requirements.... i was all cool until i reached, i think it was f or something, one of the last ones.... the drama/dance/visual arts requirement... you need one credit of that.... WHAT!!?!?!?!? i mean, how many high schoolers takes a class like that?

here in florida, you're required to take a "vocational/fine art" requirement of one credit to graduate... i satisified it by being in a premed program... people that apply to UCLA, for example, take a year of dance? drama? art? have there been people like me that find out the fine arts requirement only to give up 'cause its too late to take that "Arts I" class that freshies take? or have you gone out of your way to dual enroll for an intro to art class? or taken "ap art history" online to fill the requirement? im still shocked... lol... oh well, i was only THINKING about applying... now i have no shot cause i opted out of art

People end up taking it senior year (photo or art) or they take something at the local cc (art history, art, whatever).

you could take AP Art History, or a music/choir or drama class.

That was added last year. Keep up :)

I'm taking orchestra...thank god I chose to play the violin in 4th grade....you should take a class that meets outside of school (7th period) so it doesn't screw up your schedule
