I'm looking for a match CSU/UC/ Cal Poly (which is a CSU maybe?)

3.3 UW GPA 3.5 W
1890 (1300) SAT
30 ACT

I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD.

Always turned in late assignments, and its really discouraging that I'm only finding this out now, as I'm a rising senior. I really believe that if I had gotten the proper treatment earlier, I could have been a top student. This is something that I'm probably going to write my essay on, and hopefully will give the admissions offivcer a point of view that not many people can see.

Anyways, I also handle myself very well, and could excel in an interview, despite my circumstances.

Work expierience - bus tables at a high quiality restaurant in upstate NY.

As said above, Im OOS, not sure if that helps or not, but I've heard the Cal schools are looking for OOS students due to the cost, and their financial troubles.

Taken 2 AP's, 4 by end of senior year, decently hard rigour.

Finance major

Please tell me what schools would be good fits for me.

Work hard as a senior. Play up your ADHD and try to get better ACT and SAT scores (not bad though). Cal Poly SLO is best for business and YES, being OOS will help you get into a UC or a CSU.

Cal Poly SLO is a great college, but I don’t think it is best for business. It is known for their engineering program. San Diego State is known for their business program though. If you want to attend a UC or CSU then I recommend you raise your GPA during your senior year and take the SAT and ACT again. Your score is not bad, but seeing how your a OOS student you should raise it to distinguish yourself from competitors.

Can you afford the OOS costs for UC or a Cal State (which includes Cal Poly)? UC will be $50k a year, the Cal States will be around $30k. There is little to no aid for OOS students.

Minimum UC GPA for OOS admission is 3.4. UC calculates GPA on its own scale: only grades from the so-called a-g requirements are counted, only 10th and 11th grade marks are used, and OOS students can only weight AP courses, not honors. Start with [University of California - a-g Guide](http://www.ucop.edu/a-gGuide/ag/a-g/) to check out the UC guidelines. You will certainly be eligible for Cal State admission, but your stats are low for San Diego State and the Cal Polys.

UC and Cal State do not use interviews or teacher recommendations as part of their application process.
