I go to an undergrad school that is on a 4.0 system, where an A+ counts the same as an A. For some classes, they give A+, and others don't give anything higher than an A. Anyways, both grades are equivalent GPA wise. On a transcript, would adcom committees care about A+ vs an A? I suspect that they don't, especially since some profs don't give A+.

Yes, they will care about an A+ - it shows that you did work over and above what was required for an A, to a level of excellence. Also, I go to a university like that and A+ are worth more than As (A+ are worth 4.33 points; As are only a 4.0 in your GPA). But if you never got an A+, it won’t count against you.

That’s what I’m concerned about if they care. Alot of the classes I got A’s in did not give an A+. After seeing that I did get some A+s in some classes, wouldn’t they wonder why I didn’t get an A+ in other classes?
