A High School Junior looking at Washington University

I'm currently a high school Junior, and I've recently become interested in Washington University after they sent me an advertising letter. I would really like to get into the Social Science program, but I am not sure how much of a chance I have, as WU seems pretty hard to get into.
So far I have not taken the SAT or ACT, so I do not know my scores.
I have a 3.8 weighted GPA, with just two AP classes ( English lang. and World History) from this semester, my senior year, I plan on taking several more, including U.S. History, statistics, and Psychology.
As far as EC's, I dance. Dane takes up my entire after school schedule, while work takes up my weekends. During the early spring, I participate int eh school musical, which has practice everyday after school fro two months. Will WU take this into account when they are considering my lack of EC's?
Additionally, I am a member of NHS and my school's Environmentally Aware Students, where we run the school's recycling program as well as participate in several community service projects, especially trash pick up. I also do some community service on my own time, including volunteering at the local animal shelter.

So what should I do before next fall to better my chances of getting into Washington University? I would really like to get into it, It seems to be a great school and it has a great History program.

Thanks for your advice!

To better your chances you might do any/all of the following: go visit; have an interview while you're there; attend a class (which might give you something additional to talk about during your interview); maybe sleep over with a student host; prep hard and get the best scores you can on your SAT or ACT. Finally, if you are so inclined, you might make an adjustment or two in your course selection for next year. Stats and Psych are not widely regarded as among the tougher AP courses. Stat specifically is regarded as the weak math student's tactic for getting an additional AP on the transcript. Are you able to take AP Calc? If so, you might consider it. Also, most of the "most highly competitive schools" (I can't swear this is the case at WashU, but I know for a fact it is at much of its competition) expect an applicant to have taken not only Calc, but also Physics (not necessarily AP) by senior year. Will you have done this? I know it sounds odd for a kid who's planning on majoring in a social science in the A&S school, but unless you are applying to an Engineering or Business school (or something comparably focused), identifying your prospective major doesn't carry a lot of weight, and admissions officers look for students who have studied and excelled in diverse fields.

Well, I had planned on taking AP stats because I figured it would be helpful towards a anthropology degree, however I could take both AP calc and AP stats. As for Physics, I am taking a CP physics course, but not the AP, mainly because I had a huge confrontation with the only AP teacher when I had him for Sophomore Bio. I don't trust him to give me a fair grade anymore.

Thank you so much for your advice!
