A Humble Request for a Chance

After years of lurking, I have finally decided to post my info and put myself at the mercy of the CC community.

I plan on applying early decision to Brown, but I will also apply to NYU, Emory, UC Berkeley, Vanderbilt, LMU, and Columbia.

GPA: 4.0 (I will be ranked 1/400 at the time I apply)
SAT: (660 M/690 CR/760 W) (780 US History) (690 Math 1) (590 World History)
AP's: Statistics=2 US History=5 Music Theory=4 World History=3

Extracurriculars:
Volunteer Docent at Local Museum (10-12) (4 hours a week)
Student Council (10-12) (Junior Class President/Student Body President)
School Newspaper (10-12) (Section Editor)
State Youth Government (9-10) (Founding Member)
County Youth Government (11-12)
Paid Band Leader at Local Church (10-12) (7 hours a week)
Paid Intern at local Education Foundation (11-12) (20 hours a week)
Member of Nationally recognized Guitar Program/Ensemble (9-12) (10 hours a week)

I have taken the most rigorous courseload available at my school. Also, I have taken certain AP classes, which were not offered at my school, online. I will most likely get very good recommendations and my essay will be very good to excellent.

It's also worth noting that I go to a public Performing Arts high school where I actively participate in one of the best Classical Guitar programs in the nation. I will have a very good arts supplement, and I suppose that could be my "hook."

Any and all input as to where I stand would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I'll return the favor.

Your ECs are very good. Your SATs could be better, but I feel that if you raise your scores then you could have a good chance at Brown, especially with ED.
