A long, long time ago... I sent my ACT scores.

So I'm applying to several highly selective colleges and I realize that I was stupid enough back in 2009 to send the ACT scores from my 7th grade testing to a bunch of schools. I don't want Harvard and Yale to automatically throw my application away when they see my 27 on the ACT and perhaps don't look to the right to see the test date. Should I call these colleges up to make sure they are aware of this? Constructive comments only please.

I wouldn’t bother. They might even consider it a positive that you took a college entrance exam in 7th grade. :)

I don’t think you should worry about this as they will see the date the test was from and then see you took more tests after that and got higher scores.

If you are really worried about it even though I wouldn’t be I wouldn’t call the school instead I would send an email to your admissions counselor and tell her the situation as she will be the one who reads your application.

Don’t worry about it at all. Colleges ONLY consider your highest scores and completely disregard lower ones.
