so i happened to look at my stanford app that i already submitted and i realized iput i took my ACT on 04/2007 instead of 04/2009. what was i thinking? anyways, is it necessary to e-mail them about this? they will get the official score report so they will see it was '09

it does not make a difference.

I accidentally put 10/2010 instead of 10/2009…do I need to email them to change it?

They might look and be skeptical, but I doubt they’ll really care. They’ll see your official report, and it’s a pretty innocent typo. Happens.

Schools will usually use those numbers for an “unofficial” statistics report to see how strong or weak the applicant pool is going to be. They also want to see what you’re up to in reference to standardized tests and college preparation.
