a lot of people changed to forwarded today....

last time this happened it was the friday the second wave was sent out. there wasnt a wave last friday so maybe there was one sent out today!!! any idea on this thought?

i guess we’ll find out from socal kids tomorrow!

that makes sense…fingers crossed!!!

ahh this is exciting!

is this the same trend tht occured when the second wave was sent out… a bunch of kids statuses changed and the links worked for them

i hope it is

i feel like i have a receedin grey hairline from all of this waiting

yet my status STILL has not changed… :(

did everyones status change to forwarded today???
Mines did and it seems like a lot of other people too!

i wanna yell
HAVE NOT EVER (yet??) GONE TO FORWARDED!!! (still at being reviewed)
Im so mad…looks like my #1 is about to reject me,

and i thought I had a good chance. At least thats what all my admission councilers, peers, teachers, AND EVERY1 told me.

I also now hate!!! USC’s admission process…at this rate, even if i do get accepted, it wont be a feeling of great accomplishment and happiness, it’ll just be more of a relief than anything else. Screw these waves and statuses, JUST SEND 2 Waves, one for scholarships, ONE FOR EVERYONE ELSE!!! (rejections and all) UCLA and so many others were alot nicer about that!

elakador USC has a record number of apps this year
they’ve probably not gotten to yours yet.
apparently forwarded just means they’re looking at your app

**From your first visit to the USC admissions website **last winter, it has clearly stated that you will hear about your admission by April 1st, 2010. That date has not passed. The statuses are internal bookkeeping and are not meant as a way to notify applicants of admission.

Regular posters here have said, over and over, that this happens every year and that most applicants will not hear until near the stated date of April 1st.

Some applicants will be accepted NEVER having had a status change. Some applicants who get all the “right” status changes (which varies depending on how you happen to be defining that today) will be rejected.

I am sorry that the college application season is stressing you out, but much of the stress here is a result of over-analyzing simple terms such as “forwarded,” which means simply that something was moved from one place to another.

^ thanks for that calming note
sorely needed that

alamemom is too smart…she must be working undercover for USC… yeah that’s it.

lol.

. ;)

alamemom is my hero. alame must be very proud of her mom. lol.

alamemommy…this is why we love you and appreciate your calming voice in this process.

If you are a person with “pull”, find out who Dream is and get her in. She deserves it more than anyone else here…that would make my day. I would give up my spot (if I had one ha ha) for her in a heartbeat.

^^ and an extra spot for tornados too

…and if they have a few spring slots open…;)

Forwarded today… I live in Hong Kong and 3 of my peers have already received packages! what major have you guys applied for?

A_Procrastinator…thank you so much. Back at ya…a spot for you too.

mine just switched back to ‘being reviewed’. IM IN!!!

^^ was yours on forwarded first and if so when did it switch to forwarded??
