Don’t laugh – a Chick-fil-A was something ds1 looked for in a college as well. He ended up at a school without one. Oh, the horror!!!

My niece was horrified when my daughter told her that we don’t have them in Maine. I hope she still comes to visit this summer.

Chick-fil-A is a huge topic on Twitter by college athletes. I hadn’t realized it had become such a necessity of life!

What’s so great about Chick-fil-a? I’ve never had food from there. Is it the chicken version of an In-N-Out?

I have never been to one - what do they sell?

I no longer eat chicken, but it is a quality company and a good business model.mRefuses to be open on Sunday. Good food, good prices and a popular alternative to burgers.

Yuck! Chick-fil-a supports and gives $ to anti-gay organizations. As a current senior, I’ve actually been wary of schools that DO have one on campus! I won’t ever set foot in one of their establishments!

I’ve never heard of chick-fi-a (am a h.s senior)

I agree born2dance - they’ll never make a dime off me.

Chick-A-Fil - That’s a subsidiary of Exxon, right?

You’re thinking of Chick-fil-up.

Tasty chicken and delicious lemonade. Yes, the followers of Chick-Fil-A are about as devoted as those for In-N-Out. It may be a geographical/cultural thing, since I am still fond of the former but haven’t quite gotten the appeal of the latter yet. (Many Northeasterners seem to have similarly strong feelings about Wawa.)

I find the article headline amusing, but it seems a bit strange to complain about going “like 15 minutes off campus.”

A lot of more surbarban and urban areas here in the NE don’t have WaWa. Our loyalty lies with Panera Bread.

Now I have to ask - what’s a wawa?

I’m in New England - what’s a wawa? Reminds me of Barbara Walters on SNL.

Wawa

I feel incredibly sad for anyone who hasn’t had the Cookies & Cream milkshake from Chick-Fil-A.

I am not a fan of some of their business practices though (donating to anti-gay orgs and whatnot) but dammit there food is good.

“You’re thinking of Chick-fil-up.”

Thank you. That’s a day-brightener for sure!

LOL my d would love a CFA near campus as well! She eats there a lot when she’s home.

I would say their support goes more toward “pro family” than “anti-gay” organizations.

When we were in the “kid meal” stage I loved that the “toy” was usually a book or game, not movie tie-ins.
