A poll

This is great. Thanks all for responding to the poll. We’ll “close” it in a day or two, and then summarize what we get.

Male
Asian
No

Male
Asian
International

It would appear the OPs observations are correct.

Bump this up one more time. It is probably a best time for a poll like this as I see so many new and old CC’ers are posting. If you care to take the poll…your last chance. :)

Male

Asian

CHINA (including TAiwan, Tibet and Xinjiang)

Girl

U.S. Naturalized Citizen

32 of you have responded. Here’s a brief summary of what you have told us about yourselves:

Female: 62.5%
Male: 37.5%

Asian: 43.8%
Caucasian: 40.6%
Black (including mixed race of black & white): 15.6%

With this small sample, girls have significantly bigger presence than boys. “Students of color” in this poll is higher than any prep school’s reported “students of color” ratio. “Caucasian male” appears quite “inactive” on the prep school forum. There are only 5 of them, and 2 were reported by parents.

The poll has not “closed”, so if you want to respond please do so. We can sumarize again if there’s more data in a few days.

25%

I think this is also higher than the international student ratio in the schools most mentioned here.

Female
