A question about admission and intended concentration

Hello I really want to go to Brown but I know that it will be a reach. Unfortunately sophomore year I did not do very well and therefore my high school gpa is ~ 3.7 unweighted (in ~top %12 of my class). Although I do have good test scores (33 ACT) and really good extra curriculars.
I intend to do computer science in college but I was wondering if I would have a better chance applying for Environmental Studies. This is because junior year at my school I started a club that is one of the biggest clubs at my school now and has raised over 7,000 dollars and made several gardens at my school, improved recycling systems, and bought new furniture at my school. This is at a poor underfunded school in the "hood" as well. I was wondering if I would have a better chance at being accepted with this intended concentration because I could write about this club and how important the environment is to me. I feel like I could write a pretty good essay for the what have you done in this area as well.
Vs computering in which I have a background in but I don't have as many big achievements. I've built a couple PCs in the past, messed around with linux, rooting, jail breaking, Xbox tweaking and I'm currently taking an intro to programming class in Coursera. But I feel as though many people applying to computer science have done much more.
Thank you and I am open to any feed back possible. I'm really looking for anything to improve my chances of getting in, even though it's impossible to predict these things. Just looking to see what you guys think. Thanks!

also forgot to add that my score on the ACT was in the math section, and I got a B in precalc sophomore year and an A- in math last year… because I know that this is something that they look at for science students… thanks again

Brown doesn’t accept you into a major. So it shouldn’t matter. Do you need to fil out the science supplement if you are interested in CS? That would be the only drawback and reason to switch to environmental science, if you can’t write strong and compelling answers to that supplement.

thanks for responding - yes you do need to fill out the science supplement and I think that I could write a good answer. But do you think that having a intended concentration in something that I have a stronger background in and can show progress working in this field would help to unify my interests and make me a stronger applicant.
