A Question about AP Chinese Exam

<p>I know when you're at the speaking part, they give you a couple minutes to prepare for the recording. During that preparation time, are you allowed to have a pencil and paper to jot down a couple of notes? Or are you supposed to prepare everything mentally?</p>

<p>yes, you have paper that you can write on…i think if i remember correctly, i wrote out everything i was going to say, and basically read out of it…</p>
