I got into the UC I wanted, but now I’m kind of worried about something. When I was going through the scholarships section of the app back in November, I clicked a bunch of things that were related to me. However when I got my acceptance I kept being contacted from the UC’s services stating that they are excited to have a second generation college student from my family going into their school. I’m the first in my family to ever go there. I finally remembered that back when I was checking the boxes I accidentally clicked the box that says my parents are alumni. What should I do about this? I want to correct the error but I don’t want to put my admission in jeopardy.
