A question on transferring

I’m currently a first year student at Emory University, but because of family issues, I had to return to Korea (where my mother lives) after completing my first semester. I do not think I can attend college in the US anymore, so I am planning to transfer to a university in Korea. My top choice right now is SNU (Seoul National University), and since both of my parents are Japanese, I can apply through the International Admissions. The problem is that the International Admissions for SNU abolished the transfer application system in 2014 (https://en.snu.ac.kr/apply/transfer/timeline), so I cannot apply there as a transfer student. Do you think it is possible to apply normally through the undergraduate application, not through the transfer application?

Best answer would be to call the admissions office at SNU. It looks like your credits won’t transfer and you will have to apply as a freshman if you are allowed to apply.

what if you check other unis? for example yonsei is great or kaist.

too bad there are no prestigious american unis in korea, i would definetely study there for first 1 or 2 years ;-;

I have the following question that I need to clarify before submitting my application. I live in California and have attended a community college here for two years now. I recently completed my AA and I am ready to transfer. However, I took some college credits that I am not proud of in Venezuela (I am from Venezuela). Can I completely omit this institution from my Univ. application, because if I listed it, they will require me to send them the transcripts, which I don’t have. Can they find out about this foreign institution even when I omit it from my application. Please help!
