A quick question for CAL Econ major

Hey guys,

Thanks for looking. I recently have a question on the Econ Math pre-reqs. On assist, it shows that one can either take 2 calc or 1 calc + 1 stats before transferring (and there's no specific stats class that's accepted by Cal according to assist, so does that mean I can take "any" stats class?).

My question is, if i take all 3 (2 calc + 1 stats), does that mean i wont have to take any math classes in Cal? And if i take both calc before spring 2009 and leave the stats for summer 2009, does the grade matter (meaning if Cal would take that grade into my future grade?)

I hope im not being confusing..... Thanks!

Okay so I'll try and make this as clear as possible. You need both Calculus 1 and 2 to finish the math prereqs. No CC has the stats classes, so you take those classes once you get to Cal. In fact, your grade in those classes (statistics with calculus and something else) will depend on whether you're admitted into the major or not because if you're accepted to Cal you're accepted into the department (social sciences), NOT the actual econ major. Hope that helped.
