<p>Ok, quick question. I'm going to major in Econ, but so far the only class that will be a pre req for the Econ major will be Calc I next semester. I was wondering if it will be a good idea to take an Econ class so I'll have some sort of major GPA before I apply.</p>

<p>you should finish all the pre-reqs for you major before applying. Thats one of the most important things they look at when selecting admissions.</p>

<p>What I was trying to ask is that Calc I would be the ONLY pre req that I will have taken and received a grade for before I apply. So, I was thinking maybe I should also take miro econ so they can see how I am doing with courses related to my major. I ended up adding mirco econ. I’m applying for 2011.</p>
