<p>Hello,</p>

<p>For Part 2 of the Berkeley Update titled "Major Prerequisites," there is no course articulated for statistics at my CCC. I did take statistics, but it does not satisfy the major prereq. What should I do? Any tips? </p>

<p>I guess I will be missing one major prereq. I heard a lot of CCC do not have these rigorous statistics classes- unless you attend a rich CCC :) I guess I should leave it blank and use the comment box to explain my circumstance?</p>

<p>I just wrote that there was no course articulated, and that I took another statistics course. </p>

<p>Should I note that I plan on taking it at Cal or is that a given?</p>

<p>Does it matter what math course you put under IGETC section II (Mathematical Concepts and Quant. Reasoning)?</p>

<p>The UC application automatically picked my statistics course. I switched it with Calc 3. Does it really matter which class it is, as long as it transfers? Thanks!!!</p>

<p>I was given the impression that you should do Calc 1 and 2 at your jc and take a stat class (20, 21, or 25) at Berkeley.</p>

<p>I have some other questions. I am doing IGETC (section 3) on Berkeley update-seems pretty straight forward. </p>

<p>Under “Social & Behavioral Sciences,” I took more than 3 classes; I took 6. Is it better to list the A’s than the B’s I received? And does it really matter? Also, am I allowed to put major requirements under IGETC sections? For example, my counselor put economics 7 under section 4 “Social & Behavioral Sciences.”</p>

<p>Also, if anyone is curious why I took a lot it is because I switched from business admin to econ. </p>

<p>^it wouldnt matter at all, they are gonna see all those grades anyway and this is just for IGETC, on these updates, what eally matters are the grades in ur major pre-reqs.</p>
