i ama very good student (top 5%) and will have several prestigious internships and research oppurtunities to put on my resume by the time i apply to a combined medical program....however i got a 730 on the chem satII...i dont no why cuz i was getting 750-770 on practice tests but whatever....my question is how much will this affect my chance of admission if i am an otherwise strong candidate??? also a side question how much to colleges look at ap scores( ie how much more does a 5 "count" than a 4) i would really appreciate any feedback or advice...thanx!!

colleges actually don't know what you got on your AP exams unless you tell them (or send them a score report)

definitely don't worry about it. My SAT II chem test score was lower than yours, and I got into both PLME and HPME.

ellen, if you don't mind can you post your stats?

tikibu, i really don't think you have anything to worry about if you say that everything else looks good.

Yes, ellen, could you post your stats. HPME and PLME! WOW! I wish I was you.

ellen-same as everyone else...i owuld really love to know your stats and ecs...im going to be a junior sept so i still have times to do stuff right...wow congrats hpme and brown

If you pm me I'll send you my stats, I don't like posting them

Chances are they won't penalize you just because of a 730 . . . it's not exactly a horrible score. You'll be fine.
