Everyone is talking how they want to be investment bankers and work on wall street...
What if I graduate with a bachelors in finance and just want to work for a regular company anywhere as a finacial analyst?

It’s so refreshing to hear someone wanting to do “regular” finance than investment banking. Yes, there are in fact more opportunities to work as a financial analyst, business analyst, budget analyst, risk analyst etc. in major corporations than in investment banking.

Of course, there are plenty of opportunities (many more than in investment banking). The paths are generally different than IB, but if thats ok with you then do it.

I wouldn’t exactly call any job fun but I guess you could it interesting or exciting if you really like it and you are passionate about it. There are bound to be some people in each profession who like it and dislike it so it depends. In a way being a financial analyst could be described as accounting. It also depends on what kind of financial analysis you are referring to since its kind of a broad job description.
