I want to major in business and minor in theatre.

What are some schools out tehre that would be good for these two majors?

I want to go visit some colleges, i just dont know what ones to visit, there is so many!

I'd appreciate your help, Thanks!

NYU has a good business program (stern) and i heard that it's theatre department is pretty strong as well. Although I'm not sure if you can take other classes if you're in stern.

USC has a strong Ugraduate business program and has close ties to Hollywood.

Yes NYU has a very strong business program geared more towards finance/marketing/international though. They also have a strong theater program. I do not believe you can minor in theater while attending Stern for business though. Another option is to enroll at Gallatin, which allows you to take any course in any school of NYU, but I'm fuzzy as to how their credits to degree stuff works so you should check that out.

You might want to look at Carnegie Mellon. They have excellent programs in both, although I don't know if they let students minor in theatre.

Kyle, I suggest you order a copy of Ruggs Recommendations online [it is shipped from Calif]. It is used by HS guidance counselors, like the Friske catalog, to help students find colleges by the majors they offer. You can look up colleges that offer theatre majors [ which means they have a strong program] and Undergraduate Business majors, and cross check them to see who offers both. This book was invaluable to my son, who was looking for colleges that had both strong Geophysics programs as well as strong music programs. It's worth every penny.

My vote is for Richmond :) Excellent theatre department that is open to majors, minors, and students outside of the department. And the business school is rumored to be fairly good ;) though I don't have first-hand experience in it.
