when i apply for college, i will write my sat history test on the verbal subject test part. But apparently, when i ask collegeboard tp send my scores, they will send all of them, and this includes my 460 sat writing. specifically i am going to apply to MIT.(i was sick in the test, only solved it for 20-30 minutes, the rest was moaning),
will they consider my history score, or will they judge me by looking at my sat writing score 2? if so , do you think i should explain the situation i experienced?

i didnt cancel my score, because on the same day i took 2 other tests, Chemistry annd MAth 2c,i got 800 from both. i took medicine, and sat next to the heater after the writing test, with the permission of the proctor. and used the bathroom in the break, that helped alot.(tell nobody):P

or should i re-take sat 2?

since MIT is not a big fan of scores, i actually dont mind putting a round-600 score in but 460 is way too abnormal, for me 2. But this was an extraordinary situation.

Why did you take writing in the first place? The SATs for the high school class of 2006 includes a writing section. Do well in that, and they'll definitely overlook the 460 on the first one.

i am graduating this year, i am attending a turkish school and i skipped a class... i think i might have missed the answer, but will they look at my history score or my writing score or both?on another thread, i read that they look at the highest of each category.(for example if the highest in the math subjject test is math 1 c then they take that)
and that 460 was not of my making, i can assure you that. if i was so inarticulate i wouldnt have done good on the essays i had to write at BU history lesson.its not so easy to write an essay or answer grammar questions when you can barely breath because of an extreme pain rushing up your stomach applying pressure to your lung. MAn...i sound pathetic, i hate sounding pathetic, but i am.:(((if i hadnt done what i did in that 5 minutes brake, i think i would get something like 600 from the others 2.

no offense pebbles :)

or do i "have to" take the new SAT if i am applying next year?(boy if that is so, i feel ignorant)
