Hello! First post here, and I'm asking a potentially silly question.

So I have 2400 on SAT and 36/36/36/36 on ACT. The problem is I'm not good at timed essays, apparently; I have a 10 on the SAT essay and an 8 on the ACT essay, which brings my ACT combined "Writing" score down to 32.

So, the choice: Through common app / official score reports, is it better (does it look better) to submit both "perfect scores", to show an ability to score well in different testing styles, or is it better to only submit the SAT, and thus avoid the lower essay score?
I think my school's transcript includes (unofficially) SAT/ACT scores, including the Writing score on ACT (32), but not including either essay score (10, 8). So the admissions people will know I have a subperfect ACT essay regardless, but they might not be able to officially use that fact (or the fact that I have an otherwise perfect ACT score) unless I send them the official ACT score report.

Thanks! No offense, of course, to anyone who got 8-10 or below (or above) on essays. I understand how frustrating timed essays can be.

(Hmm, score reports also cost money, which is a hindrance)

EDIT: Wait, I realize this is in the wrong forum... also, I don't know how to delete posts. Sorry; can a mod move this to an appropriate thread?
