"A Streetcar Named Desire" by Williams

Just one word- WOW. I read it to prepare for my AP Lit open-ended essay question.

That book is the most bizzare piece of garbage I've ever read. I dont understand how it has any literary merit.

Are novels like these appreciated because the common people are facinated by vulgar contents?

Whoa...I actually liked that book. We read it in Lit class and I found it to be a really good read...that book's a classic!

The book seems extremely illogical and bizzare to the fullest extent.

One question though:

Did Stella send Blanche to the doctor out of antagonism?

No, she had to choose between her husband and her sister.

It wasn't out of antagonism...she was having her baby, and her sister was causing problems and she just couldn't stay.

And it wasn't to a doctor...it was to an insane asylum.

Stella!!!!!!!!

^^^ Yeah...someone was bound to say that

BLANCHE GETS RAPED

AHAHAHA

YEAH, WORST BOOK EVER

0/10 a

No I found it very tragic and it was beautifully constructed. You people just don't appreciate the nuisances. And I'm the guy-- most of the people who liked it were girls though

I dont think you know quality work when you see one. I'm sure it has some "literary merit" for its bizarre, vulgar content. The meaning behind the story is retarded, and the logic behind how Blanche became a whore is a joke.

Thank you Williams for wasting my time!
