A SUNY for a low end SAT Score

Hi,
I am quite screwed, my SAT Scores are totally terrible due to some reason/s, they were 480 in Reading, 540 in Maths, 460 in Writing, 530 in Mathematics Level 2(SAT II) and 520 in Physics(SAT II). Though I know I will do fine in Engineering as I don't suck in studies general.
Which SUNY should I go for/Which SUNY will accept kids like me?

Good education is my top priority and of course it should be affordable, I even posted <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/suny-buffalo/1265442-sat-scores-two-low.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/suny-buffalo/1265442-sat-scores-two-low.html</a> and <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/1264158-help-colleges-universities.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/1264158-help-colleges-universities.html</a> but not getting much response don't know why...

I am also looking out of SUNY as well, like CUNY, CSU, UNCG, etc.
Also, I am and International student from Delhi, India.

I am totally loving University at Buffalo, any chances of people like me getting there?

All help is very very appreciated, thanks!

this chart shows you the SAT scores for all the campuses.
good luck!

I would be concerned about your math score, and your desire to get an Engineering degree. If its your dream, than go for it, but your score might be telling you something else. Good luck!

@holliesue: Thanks a lot, this is what I wanted.
@redpoint: I get you, but, that’s not the case, my Maths is very good in general, I took SAT once only and without any preparatory course, I thought it would had been easy.

Your grammar sucks.

Seniors 2012 -

Your comment was really nasty and uncalled for. The OP stated that he is an international student so English may not be his first language. Could you write Hindi or Gujarati with the same skill he shows in English?

As for the OP - SUNY Buffalo is a reach, too far I think based on your scores. Perhaps Buffalo State might be a better choice if it has the courses you want. You should go to the SUNY site and the CUNY site and put in the majors you want and then look at those schools.

Good luck.

@Joan52: Thanks! Yea, I will be applying to UB for now, I don’t need to use my SAT scores at all though, they just require my transcripts and TOEFL Score… I like UB…
See http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1266849-universities-dont-require-sat-scores-international-students.html</a>
My Transcripts are not as terrible as my SAT Scores are, plus, I will get couple of recommendations from teachers as well. You suggest any other college which should suite me? Universities like UB?
Thanks for your time…

SUNY Potsdam is a test optional school so if your GPA is a B+ you should get in. They have good physics, math and computer science depts and you could try their 3/2 program with Clarkson and/or another college for engineering.
