*Tell us what you did over a course of days that helped you get 700+. *

For Example: Time frame: 1 week
Day 1: Studied 100 words for 3 hours.
Day 2: Practiced reading questions in BB for 2 hours.
Day 3: Reviewed questions for 3 hours.
etc.

I'm sure most of us on this forum is dying to know.

Trying to improve in CR is much less systematic as trying to improve in math. You can get a high math score by do practice questions all day long and familiarize yourself with SAT math questions. The reason why CR is much more difficult to improve because not everyone is able to adopt a certain "timeline" to achieve a target core, because in reality, we've been prepping for CR since the day we began reading, thus if you've never picked up a book your entire life, then chances are a score of 700 or above is unlikely. So this thread is pretty much useless because most of us read at a different pace and level- and i seriously doubt high CR scorers have spent their entire life studying SAT words. I may be wrong, but if so, then there's your answer.

^ Agreed. Simply reading books [at least somewhat challenging ones] is great preparation for the CR section, and it's actually fun. The only thing I can suggest is to read with a dictionary with you. Look up words you don't understand, and maybe write them down. It may sound stupid, but I've found it helps.

Just like doing math helps on the Math section, simply reading helps on the Reading section.

Day 1: watch the olympics
Day 2: go to the movies
Day 3: go to six flags
Day 4: sleep (you need the rest)
Day 5: do a set of 8 cr practice problems: for every one you get wrong do 20 push ups and for every one you get right do 10. also stay up all night
Day 6: Test day
