A Typical Day as a Cal student

Amoeba SF is far better, just so you know. Berkeley's is by no means BAD, but SF's is just amazing.

Also in Berkeley, a much smaller store, but where every other CD is great, Mod Lang. Owners have great taste in music.

Mod Lang moved to El Cerrito Plaza.

Wow, that's terrible!

typically my day (barring midterms or papers):

wake up at 8 and take a shower
class from 9-12 or so with usually an hour of discussion in the afternoon
working out in between classes/reading or studying
usually just hang out/nap around 4-6
dinner at DC or fraternity around 6:30
usually start studying around 9ish and go to bed at 3 (this is mixed in with many forms of procrastination)

this is only sunday through wednesday though. thursday through saturday i mostly party and explore berkeley with a lot less studying

Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays:
Wake up at 7 am (if I don't have to post, then I wake up at 8:30 instead)
Post flyers 7:25 - 8 (on certain days)
Breakfast 8-9
Class 9-11
Nap 11-2
Class 2-4
Dinner 5-6
Class 6-7:30
Start HW 11-12'ish
Sleep at 2-3

Tuesdays/Thurdays:
Wake up 12:00 pm
Table/flyer on Sproul 1-2 pm (sometimes)
Class 2-3:30
Dinner 5-5:30 pm
AAA meeting 7:15-9 (tuesdays)
Start HW around 11-12 pm
Sleep around 2-3 am

I personally think that I don't study enough.

Seemed pretty much the same to me. Too many CDs for me to wrap my head around either way. Same with LA. Which has the most CDs out of the three stores? Which the most space?

i have an important question!
from what i 've seen n heard there isn't much playing time at cal! i mean are there parties at all? any social life besides roaming the library or studying at a cafe??

There are plenty of parties. They are usually Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, but not exclusively.

ive never had a problem finding a party on a tuesday (TNDC), thursday (invites/frat parties), friday (a little slower but still house parties), or saturday (big registered parties). and then theres sunday night kips of course!

realli~
i mean i am not the studying type for sure, and i dont want to be with a bunch of nerds and spending my college life buried in books><

another q- are there any nightclubs safe enough to go to around there?

trust me when i say you'll find plenty of like minded individuals in berkeley. not everyone here studies all the time...

to simplify, half the students at Cal don't party. This leaves 10,000-15,000 who do party, in a small place. You can do either.

As well, besides the campus scene, there is also SF for great nightlife, even if you're underage.

what can u do in SF being underage? And by underage i assumeu mean under 21 right?

Everything but drink and go to certain clubs (most club clubs/bars and some music clubs). Pretty much anything you can do as someone over 21.

Where are the best places to get hyphy?

what is a hyphy?

oh jeez...i hope you're not from the bay area

haha jk

its bay area hip hop slang

I go to Cal and I've never heard that word. If anyone asked me where to get some hyphy I would tell them to try Walgreens.

I've heard it from only one source, my former suite-mates terrible Bay Area rap. "Get hyphy hyphy/with my wifey wifey." Ew.
