i've heard so many conflicting rumours about college life. i've met people who told me that they just party all day, have one class per day, and some who have so many classes that they have no time for anything else. i know people choose to take different courseloads, but can anyone describe an average day? will i be stuck studying all the time just to keep from failing? btw, i'm going to upenn.

depending on what your major is and what your schelude is anything is possible, you could have all after noon classes if you want or all mourning classes(def not me),well if you take communications(easiest major ever) youll pry be haveing an easy 4 years, but if your taking engineeirng(one of the hardest majors) youll pry be studying a lot since a lot is involved in this major, it all depends on your major you take, the above seems pretty avg shes maybe taking businnes(avg) or something similar

There are two kinds of people who play sports in college:
1. At the big sports schools they dont' take any real classes / have to do anywork b/c they are just given grades so they can play on the team b/c it's that important to the school
2. Work their asses off. Take only morning classes, b/c the teams practice in the afternoon.

Throughout the day I will also usually have errands to run or meetings with faculty, group project members, friends in my free time. Sometimes I will also be at the library until 10pm and other days I am there until 5:30am. It all depends...

Well, last semester I had two days that went

10:40-2:10 classes (three classes back to back with just enough time in between to run across campus to get to the next one)
then eat, hang out, sleep, library, eat, hang out

and one day that went

11:20-12:40 class
eat, hang out, sleep, homework, library
3:50-5:10 class

another that went

10:40-12:40 classes
eat and just enough time to hang out to be a little late to my next class
2:50-3:15 class

and one day when I didn't have class until 3:50 so I'd either stay up late doing my problem set and sleep til 3 or wake up at 12 to do the pset.

So I guess my schedule fits all the categories you've heard about... I think most people's do.

post name of colleges? thanks.

Embry-Riddle Aero. U. in Prescott for Aero. Eng.

Classes until noon everyday
Lunch and studying
Band practice for two hours
dinner and maybe more studying...

But here's the thing... everyone's schedule will be different and each individual dertermines that. You can set your schedule the way it works for you.
