A- vs. A ?!?!?!

No, i'm not a troll, and yes, i'm being serious.

And don't give me answers that don't help me.

At my highschool, A- = 3.667 unweighted.

Do colleges recalculate it to be 3.667 or do they keep it at 4?

Will I have less of a chance to go to top colleges if I get A-'s - even a slightly less chance.

Are you asking if they look at your weighted or unweighted grades? It really depends on the college; some have entirely different methods of calculating gpa, such as only looking at the core classes.

Obviously you’d have a better chance with A+s, but that’s not to say you’ve spiraled down to an extremely low shot. Higher is better, and I can’t think of any exceptions to that.

The fact that you went out of your way to say you’re not a ■■■■■ tells me that you know on some level that you’re worrying for nothing. Don’t worry, you can’t do anything about it anyway.
