As you can tell, there was a lot of partying in my first year. Usually I try to take at least one night a week off besides Monday... and I would do homework then. My friends and I never went out till at least 11, except for the happy hours so there was time to do homework then too.

Mon- class from 9-1, computer and tv until 5, dinner, homework until 9 or 10, shower, go to bed around 12.
Tues- class from 11 and 2, repeat Monday evening
Wed, repeat Monday with a newspaper meeting at 3pm.
Thurs-repeat Tuesday
Fri-class until 1, Grey's Thursday rerun at 8, go out at 9, come in and go to bed around 1am.
Sat-get up in the early afternoon, go to Walmart, dinner, tv, go out until 12 or 1am.
Sun-get up in the early afternoon, watch tv until 5, study, dinner at 7 or 8, go back to studying at 9, shower and go to bed around 12.

My "go out" was usually at movie at the theater or eating at a resturant. I'm not a drinker, so I rarely went to parties. You'll make friends to do these kids of things with in the dorm, at class, and at clubs/sports teams, you just have to be friendly.

My schedule last semester went something like this (work means school work, not job):

Monday: Morning class. Go on the internet or work or nap until lunch. Afternoon class. Work afterwards, go to the gym if I have time. Dinner. Work some more, watch Heroes at my (Greek) society house. Work more if I have to, or hang out with my BF and friends.

Tuesday: Morning classes. Lunch. Nap. Work. Gym. Work. Watch House with friends. Work. Maybe have a society meeting, depending on the week.

Wednesday: Morning class. Go on the internet or work or nap until lunch. Afternoon class. Nap. Dance rehearsal for a while. Late dinner. Watch Lost. Work. Maybe have a society meeting, depending on the week.

Thursday: Morning classes. Clean dishes at the society restaurant. Give a tour (I'm a tour guide). Work. If I have time, see a movie for free on our film series, or attend a lecture, or watch an a cappella group perform.

Friday: Morning class. Lunch. Hang out with friends (video games/tv/chatting/Frisbee/etc)/try to work/go to the gym. Go see a movie or go out to dinner or to one of the comedy troupes on campus or something. Party!

Saturday: Brunch. Work. Dance rehearsal. Work/hang out with friends. Go see a movie or go out to dinner or to one of the comedy troupes on campus or something. Party!

Sunday: Work. Do laundry. WORK. WORK. WORK.

(BTW, Party! actaully means everything from big frat party to watching movies with friends...anything fun).

Just to let everyone know, all the big parties aren't always at frat houses. I've only been to frat party one time and that was a couple weeks ago. There are house parties and stuff all the time here (well, not in the summer as much, but def. during the year).

My typical week last semester:

Monday: Class, job, class, dinner with friends, work
Tuesday: Class, job until late, work
Wednesday: Class, planning meeting for student org, discussion group, dinner with friends, work
Thursday: Class, job, club meeting, dinner with club members, party or hang out with friends
Friday: Class, relax (watch a DVD, TV, read a novel... just some alone time), call home, cook dinner at a friend's apartment, go to sleep relatively early
Saturday: Sleep late, work, go out or go to a party
Sunday: Sleep late, work lots

Scattered in there were also phone calls to the girlfriend, random running around/meetings/errands for the club I'm active in, phone calls to old friends from high school or who've graduated, etc.. I usually party and go out on Thursday and Saturday, but leave Friday for a quieter night in with friends (or a movie or something else relatively tame) so that I'm not exhausted when the weekend's over. For me, Thursday's more for doing stuff on campus, Saturday's more for an off campus club, concert, whatever.

monday: on campus for class 8-2, come home and study, do assignments for my online class, run errands, watch tv, surf internet. sometimes work in evenings 6-10 pm

tuesdays: no classes, work 7:30-4, then rugby practice from 5-7, and club meeting from 7-8:30ish. go home, do some homework, then fall into bed.

wednesdays: on campus for class 8-4, then rugby practice 5-7 and club meeting 7-8. do some homework and studying

thursdays: work 7:30-11. class from 12-4. rugby practice 5-7. watch greys anatomy with the roommates, maybe go buy groceries or go to bar/party, or make margaritas at home.

fridays: class 8-2. Go home and relax a little, clean house up, catch up on emails, go to a movie or out to bar/party/club.

weekends:sometimes have to work a few hours, do laundry, run errands, drink, organize some stuff as a club officer, play rugby game, sleep alot, and probably study/do homework at least 5 hours both days, usually more on sundays.

Thats with 20 credits, working at least 15 hours/week, and being in two clubs plus on the rugby team. You learn time management really well.

Typical week (entering my senior year as Counseling Psychology & Commercial Music double major...so this is my expectations based on previous years and what I am involved in so far...):

Sunday -- church, chill with friends, go out that night, do homework due Monday that didn't gone done over the weekend (aka, all of it!)

Monday -- class all day (9:30am-5:15pm), work (6-9pm), club meeting that evening (9-10pm), do homework that is due Tuesday and maybe get started on stuff due Wednesday because tomorrow night will be hell otherwise! (10pm-1am)

Tuesday -- psych internship/practicum (9am-2:30pm), class (2:45-6pm), record a session at the recording studio where I intern (7pm-1am)

Wednesday -- class (9:30am-7:20pm), work (8-11pm), homework for Thursday and Friday (11pm-1am)

Thursday -- psych internship/practicum (9am-2:30pm), class (2:45-6pm),student leadership meeting (7-9pm), begin mixing session at recording studio as intern (9pm-2am)

Friday -- sleep in...'til 10...get to my 10:40 class just barely on time... then get a start on the weekend around 1pm... go to the beach for the afternoon/evening... or possibly Hollywood

Saturday -- go to Universal Studios with friends for most of the day, come home and either party or possibly crash early from a long week!

The rest of the time is mostly hanging out with friends -- usually spontaneously -- and meals.
