a year after graduation - from local to international politics

I graduated last year with a liberal arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Russian from a NESCAC school. Although I entered college with a strong interest in international relations and foreign service work, my internships and experiences led me to work in community organizing and state and local politics. I now work as a field organizer on state legislative campaigns. Now that I have had some time to reflect on my interests and the trajectory of my career, I realize that I am still really interested in pursuing international work. Although it is hard to name a specific dream job, I am excited by the idea of the Foreign Service or a foreign policy think tank. With my language skills, I am most drawn to Russia and Eastern Europe. I admit my goals are a bit wishy washy right now, but essentially, I want to make a shift out of local politics and into international work. Does anyone have any recommendations about how to proceed? Since my Russian could really use some sprucing up after being a year out of school, my thought right now is to find a program teaching English in Russia (I know this is easier said than done, and money is an issue for me), or find another way to bolster my language skills, before looking into Masters programs in foreign service or international relations. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you!
