<p>Did anyone else notice that all the people that talk to DMan-e as if they know him in person dislike him, while all the people that only know him online like him? I initially thought he was joking around too, but he obviously caused quite a stir at his school.</p>

<p>Based on what I read, there are three people who seem to go to the same school and know each other. One guy started boasting. DMan-e chimed in with a tongue in cheek. These two seem to get along fine in real life and made up. And the third guy (flyingpopat), who came across as a real loser to me, started flaming DMan-e on this cyberspace breaking all implicit cyber etiquette. So, DMan-e replied with a sharp tongue to Flyingpopat - who amply deserves it.</p>
<p>Where did you get the impression that everybody who knows DMan-e in person hates him??? I noticed that your ID has been created on March 28th. Are you Flyingpopat who just created this new ID just so that you can again attack people in the cloak of Internet anonymity? if so, you are a bigger loser and a chicken than I thought. If you have the beef with this DMan-e, go and punch him in his nose in real life. If you are NOT Flyingpopat, why are you getting your hands dirty like this, getting engaged in a petty personal attack as a proxy to another loser?</p>

I enjoyed reading through this because we all have become pretty psychotic, but I also feel bad for everyone that has to go to that school. Hopefully, this is not an indication of what the Harvard class of 2013 would be like.</p>
<p>Guys, I never thought my rise to fame would involve not getting a Harvard interview, but that is why life is full of surprises. I guess it’s my fault that we are viewed as a bunch of lab rats though. Just keep in mind that, unlike lab rats, we can read your assessments of us, haha. We are much more dynamic than the black-and-white pictures you guys are painting. Harvardhopeful22, I feel somewhat offended by your remarks, but I recommend that you stop looking for trouble if you really are new to cc. If we both get into Harvard or any school for that matter, send me a pm and we can meet in person during visiting days (I like to think I’m a fun, not-too-intense person). In any case, I still maintain that this whole situation helped our school because kids who previously had latent anger towards each other are now better friends.</p>

<p>So guys, I got waitlisted if anyone was curious. What about you, 1024? I was expecting a rejection due to the high likelihood of that, but the last thing I expected was a waitlist. Why would they not give me an interview and then waitlist me? I would expect schools to want more info from someone they couldn’t outright reject or accept. Opinions?</p>
